1. Scope of the service
LogicFood lets you explore available product information, ingredient explanations, nutrition information and sources for food and supported personal-care products through barcodes, photos or search. You can create personal lists and contribute product information. We do not guarantee that every product is listed or that every feature is available on every platform.
Guest access also creates a server account/session. Free use may have daily limits; the current allowances and Pro features appear in the app. Creating accounts or requests to evade limits or access controls is prohibited.
2. Informational purpose and accuracy limits
LogicFood does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, personalised dietary advice or a guarantee that a product is safe for you. Ingredient classifications are not a measured health score for the whole product and do not assess dose, consumption frequency, personal health conditions or every allergen. Cosmetic ingredient information is not a substitute for dermatological assessment.
Product information may come from external product data sources, the ingredient library, user contributions and automated photo reading. It may be incomplete, outdated or incorrectly matched; AI may misread label text. Missing allergen information does not indicate an absence of allergens. Verify current packaging and manufacturer statements; consult a qualified professional for health or allergy decisions.
3. Your account and access
Provide accurate information about your own account, protect your sign-in details and report suspected unauthorised access. Do not use another person’s account or personal information without permission. You must have the legal capacity required where you live for account and payment transactions, or involve your legal representative.
Signing out of a guest account, changing devices or clearing local data may cause loss of access. Linking the account to a supported sign-in method helps maintain access. Do not assume guest data automatically transfers when signing in to a different existing account.
4. Pro subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
When Pro purchasing is offered, payment is made through the Apple App Store. Before confirmation, the purchase screen shows the applicable price, currency, duration, features and any trial/offer conditions. Availability of monthly and annual plans does not guarantee a trial or a particular price for every user. The current version does not offer in-app purchases on Android or web.
An auto-renewing subscription renews for the periods stated by the store unless cancelled, and your store account is charged. Manage renewals and trials in your Apple account’s Subscriptions section; cancel at least 24 hours before a free trial ends if you do not want it to become paid. The store shows the access expiry date and effect of cancellation. Uninstalling the app or deleting your LogicFood account does not cancel a subscription.
Restore purchases rechecks access when an eligible purchase exists on the relevant store account. Refund requests follow Apple’s refund process; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Contact support with transaction information about purchase problems; do not send card details.
5. Content you upload and share
You must be authorised to use and share uploaded text and images. Do not submit misleading product information, personal documents, unauthorised personal data or infringing content. You keep your rights to your content; uploading grants the permission needed to store, process, format and review it through administrators to provide the service, and to display verified product contributions in the catalogue.
Images submitted for photo reading are transmitted to the relevant AI provider. Profile and contribution image addresses may be publicly accessible. Making a list visible or adding members can widen access. Recipients can forward share links. Details are explained in the Privacy Policy on this website.
6. Acceptable use and intellectual property
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, bypass security or access controls, upload harmful content, disrupt the service or carry out unauthorised bulk/automated data collection. Rights to activities permitted by mandatory law are preserved.
The LogicFood brand, software and original design/content belong to their respective rights holders. Access does not transfer ownership. External product data and images retain their owners’ rights/licences; LogicFood does not claim ownership of all such material.
7. Availability and responsibility
Maintenance, network problems, source availability or security needs may interrupt the service or change features. Purchase conditions and applicable consumer laws govern material changes affecting paid access.
Information is not promised to be complete, error-free or current for every product. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, obligations arising from gross fault or mandatory consumer rights.
8. Stopping use and deleting your account
You may stop using the service and delete your account in the app’s account settings. Contact support if you cannot access it. Deleting the cloud account is separate from uninstalling the app. The Privacy Policy describes deletion scope and records that may remain; you must cancel a store subscription separately.
Necessary and proportionate access restrictions may be applied for security, legal requirements or breaches of these terms. Where appropriate, information about the reason and review options will be provided. Contact support to request review if you believe a restriction is mistaken.
9. Disputes and your rights
The laws of the Republic of Türkiye apply to the extent applicable. Mandatory consumer and data protection rules where you live remain unaffected. These terms do not remove your right to approach legally competent consumer arbitration committees, courts or authorities. You may contact support first so we can help resolve the issue.
10. Updates to these terms
Current terms are published on this page with the last-updated date. Material changes to the service or paid access are subject to required notices and, where applicable, consent procedures. Changes do not retroactively remove mandatory rights arising from past transactions.
